German New Guinea (German: Deutsch-Neuguinea) was a German colony from 1884 to 1915. Land area - 242,476 km ². It included the following territories in the Pacific Ocean: Kaiser Wilhelm Land in the northeast of the island of New Guinea, the Bismarck archipelago, the northern part of the Solomon Islands, the Caroline Islands, the Mariana Islands (except Guam), Nauru, and the Marshall Islands.
