Etappen-Inspection is a body responsible for the supply of personnel, logistics of the army, deportation of unwanted persons from the zone directly behind the army. Each Inspectorate reported to the Quartermaster General at the General Staff (Generalquartiermeister in der Obersten Heeresleitung (OHL).
