REFERENCE: Konzentrationslager Neuengammem Oranienburg in Germany. Created in July 1936. The number of prisoners in different years reached 60,000 people. It originally arose as a branch of the Sachsenhausen camp, located near Berlin. The Hamburg branch was needed in a situation where the German leadership decided to start intensive construction in Hamburg. Over the years, 100,500 people passed through the camp.
