Konzentrationslager Oranienburg

REFERENCE: Oranienburg is one of the first concentration camps organized by the Nazis after the seizure of power in Germany in 1933. It contained political opponents of the Nazis arrested in the Berlin region - mainly communists and social democrats. The camp was organized on March 21, 1933 in the center of Oranienburg in the building of a former factory captured by assault detachments.
