On March 18, 1796, a law was passed on the issue of paper money - territorial mandates. Appropriations were exchanged for territorial mandates in a ratio of 30:1. The provision of territorial mandates was the land of the state fund, which was sold for mandates without bidding at a fixed price.
All issued territorial mandates have one date - 28 vantoz IV years (date of adoption of the law on the issue of mandates, March 18, 1796). Two types of mandates were issued:
territorial mandates (mandat territorial) with a face value of 5 francs.
obligations for territorial mandates (promesse de mandat territorial) of 25, 100, 250 and 500 francs. Wiki
