Hungarian People's Republic (Hung. Magyar Népköztársaság) is an independent state proclaimed after the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918.

Hungarian Soviet Republic (Hung. Magyarországi Tanácsköztársaság) is a political regime that existed in Hungary from March 21, 1919 to August 6 of the same year. The republic lasted only four months (133 days).
