REFERENCE: Republika Srpska Krajina (Serb. Republika Srpska Kraјina; abbr. RSK) - the former unrecognized Serbian state in the territory of the Republic of Croatia in the Croatian Krajina, in the Slavonian Krajina and Podunai Krajina. The RSK existed from 1991 to 1995 and was founded on the territory of the Republic of Croatia as part of the SFRY. The capital of the RSK was the city of Knin with a population of about 12,000 people. The area of ​ ​ the RSK was 17,040 square kilometers.
Serbian Krajina bordered Croatia, Hungary, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Republika Srpska, the Autonomous Region of Western Bosnia and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
