REFERENCE: El Salvador, the official name is the Republic of El Salvador (from Spanish. El Salvador - Savior) is a state in Central America, bordered by Honduras in the west, in the south it is washed by the Pacific Ocean. Area - 21 thousand km ², population - about 6 million people.
In 2001, the government of El Salvador decided to completely abandon the national currency and the issue of money by 2003. Since January 2001, $ (US dollar) has been put into circulation as the main currency; in 2004, the column was completely withdrawn from circulation.
